Blue Blood Dry Goods

Anybody got a pair of the "dry goods" jeans? I have just bought some which are a size too big but were a bargain so I was hoping they might shrink. Whats the deal with dry denim? whats the difference to other denims? Will they shrink when washed for the 1st time? Thanks.

I have a pair. Washed them for the first time on Sat. Not tried them on again yet but they claim to shrink by 5%.

What size are they?

theyre 36, im a 34. The fit on the leg are ok because i prefer them a bit baggy, its just the waste is too big, they pucker up a bit when worn with a belt.

will be far too big mate. I'm a 34 and wear a belt with my 34's. 36's would be huge!

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

I £100 in a half price sale. Saw them a few months back but was struggling to part with £200 at the time. The fit everywhere else is fine, I just hate wearing belts. I bought some Evisus a couple of year back and they shrunk like mad after 1 wash, but they were different denim.

Your choice mate but I would think you'll find them too big. They will shrink though.

I think they have a bit yes but I'm yet to try them on again. I'll check and report back

hi guys,

got a pair last week in a sale as well- sorry to say but i got them for 49 quid- but i also got them a size up hoping that they would shrink down and unfortunately they shrunk in the length some but barely in the waist...

to be specific i only rinsed them, no soap in 50 and then hung dry them in the sun. the colour is the same but now has a very rigid texture. afraid to dry them in the dryer in case the length goes more.

nice work on £50 a pair, were they from Selfridges? I heard they were selling them off for dirt cheap, but unfortunately don't live too near to the big smoke

yeah selfridges, hella deal, especially since you would never expect them to go down that much. liberty's still selling em for above 150-

still some bigger sizes left 36-38...

Hi mate. the jeans have shrunk noticably. They are maybe an inch shorter in the leg and have come in on the waist. The waist is actually better for me now and I'll wear them a bit lower which I prefer anyway.

they are 32 waist, about 1- 1 1/2 inch too big on me to be honest but still like loads...

actually, they do look a bit off in size even if i am somewhat 'vertically challenged'...could be the angle that i had to shoot at- nonetheless great jeans.
