are you implying only one race can effectively enact 'the hustle'?

not at all, just replying to the assumptions that the OP is stereotypical asian reseller.

i am white and am happy to enact the hustle when the situation presents itself.

I believe people on this forum are more appalled of your audacity to resell an item 10x its original cost. Specially because most forum members are knowledgeable about the actual price of your item and how much profit you are getting out of it.

Personally, I think it's insulting when people like you try to sell an item with such a ludicrous mark up.

don't hate tha playa... hate da game!

and never love them hoes!

can someone tell me why these are so hot in the first place?

because people who aren't into the environment have been duped into giving a fuck about owning a status symbol that will make other people think they're absolute martyrs for the planet.

Thats juts business...

Man you must have gone to business school to know that! What a load of shit.Reselling charity bags is not business, you are a fucking idiot. I sure as hell hope you haven''t finished high school yet because you have a lot to learn.

Fuck I can't get over how much of a wanker you are - and sticking up for a bigger wanker tops it off.

at the end of the day though, its his perogative to buy it, though. and the charity is getting their money from him buying the bag, so theyre not being shafted. and I dont think it takes nerve to mark it up so high, he's just selling it according to what other resellers are doing. Thats juts business...

And it is our prerogative to shame him for it... nay, if this capitalist society condones and even encourages money over morals, it becomes our DUTY, as citizens, to shame him for it.

terrifying. who decides what constitutes "money over morals"? and publicly shaming one opportunist is certainly not going to put a dent in this capitalist society which ALWAYS encourages money over morals. there are way bigger fish to fry than some kid in CT unless you're an e-sadist.

I don't think there's much room for moral relativism here. It's obvious to plenty of people that what he's doing is immoral. So, yes, we decide - just like everything else is decided by a group of people, and your best hope that the group of people that is making a decision is a responsible, reasonable, moral, enlightened group. Moral relativism is just as bad of a slippery slope as "taking matters in one's own hands" that seems to scare you so much.

the implication that the aggregate of superfuture users is a suitable judge of morality is a little unsettling to begin with, but we should probably avoid starting this down a theoretical path.

i'm just saying it seems a little pathetic to pick on this guy. easy sadism has never interested me.
