overdye (black weft) looks better to me. I have a pair of 005 bks but i never wear them anymore because they're too grey. s5ks are cool, diff. color from 005s but they're still not quite what you're looking for i don't think. try them on before you buy.

oh i guess i missed the part where you said you wanted them loose, since 5ks are a slim jean. yeah i'd say that 5ks in black would be better than loose pants like you described. loose black jeans would look like dickies.

I'm in LA so SE and BiG are pretty much out for me. I own a pair of 5000vx's sized up once and they fit me perfectly though.

The times I've seen black weft loose, it's reminded me of something an IT guy would wear with a braided leather belt and tucked in t shirt. But, I've never seen anyone with style wearing black weft loose, so who knows~!
