in my opinion, think they closed down because they cant compete with Levis in hk, especially the advertisment for levis is much much more then yamane or evisu, samurai...etc. Levis is much more well known, and also the rent in cwb is one of the highest in the world.

Yeah i think it might of sold better if it wasnt so hidden away in CWB. It was on a backstreet that no one walked by let alone the tourists finding it. It was a pretty cool shop though. Will be sad to not be able to go there when in HK.

did all the Yamane shops in Hk close down? I was hoping to go visit one of them when i head over in july..

even if all the yamane store close down, there are still take 5, jeans house or evisu to check out...go to the supershopper ...or superjetset....to find more out.

Yes they did as far as i was told. I know the cwb one closed (i saw the store empty over one day) and the one on the same road as take5 told me they would close on the 17th of july. But i left before that so i cant see it still being open.

Never seen jeanshouse so i dont know about that store. But PUR is also closed or moved somewhere else, Evisu is pretty standard european stuff no japanese lines (But ive only been to the new one not the one at IFC).
