Hey synth. Cut and sewn is a bit of an industry term or C.M.T where I come from, which means cut make and trim. In the context folks are talking about on SF it's in relation to cut and trim vs using stock ready made products, mainly T-shirts and Sweats from large companies etc. If a labels says it cut and sewn they have designed their own patterns and had them manufactured to specs with their own labels in the back, side pip etc. They maybe a better cut or quality of cloth, then again they may not? You won't know untill you chuck one on I guess.

I like when a label uses the same good quality fabric for a tee or sweat and the same cut, so you can suss out your size and you know its quality etc.

Cut N' Sewn means that the particular garment (can be ANYTHING, not just T-shirts) is made to a specific spec according to the designer, as opposed to buying "off the shelf" or "blanks" from a catalog or manufacturer that has already made the garment.
