5. This extremely unique Energie "sweatshirt" is actually a testament to brilliant design and construction. It seems they have taken the following steps: started with a long-sleeve crew-neck jersey Ipswitch tee, cut it down the middle, 'crudely' sewed on a zipper (the exposed fabric under the zipper's base is a testament to this) and then finally, crudely sewed on a hood around the crew-neck.

Of course, none of this was probably actually done, but all of it is a testament to the details one can find on an Energie item like this one. Brilliantly designed and cut to give it a very home-made aesthetic, this Energie piece also distances itself from the category of "sweatshirt" with its thin and incredibly soft jersey fabric -- basically, imagine your favorite worn-in t-shirt cut like a sweatshirt.

That Ann D shirt seems pretty big for a small - whats the true fit like?

Ann Demeulemeester always runs big. It fits like a Patrik Ervell small, if that helps at all -- sort of an intentionally-baggy fit if you're a size small body. Otherwise, it's really like a size medium.
