Victoria Av in Chatswood has a nice one! Coogee sushi train is good also..

My favourite is on Crown street in Surry Hills - I forget what it's called, it's fairly big. The sushi train inside Broadway shopping centre was suprisingly very good also.

i thought Makoto near the old Avillion Hotel (new Ridges Hotel on Pitt St) was nice

Sushi Tengoku [96633388] at Kensington. Try to book 1 day in advance for weekends.

From what I've heard, the sushi train in George St's cinema is pretty good. I didn't get the chance to try 'cos there's always a queue. So usually, i'll just opt for Makoto instead. Nothing beats their hand-rolled soft shell crab.

There are plenty of places but they are all similar. I havent really eaten sushi out of Australia - even whilst in japan - to be able to compare internationaly.

You want to see the sushi chef make it for you, like a cocktail bar.
