Doc Martens, what're your thoughts?

i'm feeling nostalgic for a pair of these. i had them almost 10 yrs ago. anybody feel the same way?

i'd strongly resist the urge.. not sure where you live but a glimpse of the hoards of 13 yr old german tourists snapping them up in london every weekend would be enough to put you off..

no doubting the quality, but the style is well suspect.. imho.

if you were a westham supporter in the 70s who listened to the cockney rejects then YES,.. well actually they wore better ones than those,.. all black shoe shine polishers.. these ones a are quite BAD

Doc Martins totally suck,no longer made in Northampton UK now made in China,if you want some at least stick with the original design,its your choice though.

The original Dr. Martin / "Greasy Gibson" made in the UK & rocked before the frat crowd got a hold of the later produced exposed yellow stitching come in every color in every 8th street store 1990 version, has

Suddenly I feel glad that I kept my blue Docs from more than ten years ago, and there's that reassuring "Made in England" label on the bottom of the soles (kinda like a Made in the USA on a pair of Chucks).

Any idea how to get away with wearing these shoes once in a while if only for memories' sake?
