attention all t-shirt freaks!

in tandem with the opening of their new harajuku UT store in tokyo, the masters of urban japanese fundamentals - UNIQLO - have created a limited-edition collection of t-shirts designed by the hottest artists, designers, photographers and musicians on the planet.

a t-shirt is never just a t-shirt, and like us, UNIQLO believe that this wardrobe basic is an expression of who you are, how you feel and where you’ve been. and lets face it – a good t-shirt speaks louder than a thousand words.

UNIQLO are giving 10 lucky supertalkers a chance to win a limited edition run of custom UT shirts…and hey, we aren’t complaining! all you have to do is enter the official UT supercontest, answer the 3 questions correctly and you’ll be in the running for a limited edition UT.

since april 2007, UNIQLO tees have been available at UNIQLO stores worldwide, with about 100 new styles being introduced to the new york global flagship store each month. new yorkers will also catch a glimpse of the innovative UT packaging through a unique visual display at the soho flagship.

the UT campaign is shot by the master or urban imagery himself, terry richardson and will feature well loved locals like missy rayder, michael pitt, alison mosshart, and japanese photographer keiichi nitta as well as a group of up and coming ny based artists and future visionaries wearing their favorite UT.

the complete collection of terry richardson photographs will be featured in a limited-edition hardcover book sold at UNIQLO stores worldwide starting in mid-may 2007. a 10 page short from the book will be included in UNIQLO Paper No. 2, [uNIQLO’s in-house magazine] which will be in stores at the end of the month. so be sure you go by the store and pick up a copy if you're in nyc.

stay tuned for more good stuff on superfuture from UNIQLO!!
