Dior Homme legit check

So, I won this Dior Homme coat on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320099795523&rd=1&rd=1

As I was getting ready to pay, I noticed in the invoice he sent me that he said the trench was from the 05-06 FW collection. Well, it happens to be the same trench that Fabulaz wore on WAYWT about a week ago and he told me that it was from the 06-07 collection. So that gave me some pause.

I asked him some questions about where he got it and why he is selling, and he was rather vague. He claims that he got it recently from an "authorized reseller" (do such things exist for DH?) but is unwilling to tell me the name. He ships from Australia and it appears as if the only thing he sells are DH items. Recently, he had a different coat up for sale in two different sizes, but he also sold the same item around late January.

Anyways, here are some pics of the trench that I won. Is it fake? Thanks in advance...

The seller, remiem121, is listed here:

He keeps the majority of his listings private so that people can’t contact the high bidders and warn them that they are bidding on fake goods.

Also, the Paris tag on that coat looks way off imo.

Here is a photo of a real one that I’ve taken for comparison:

Raskol, if you need any further confirmation that this coat is a fake then go and ask on the Dior Homme MSN group.

You can't really tell much from the pictures he gave you. Ask for some better lit, clearer pics. I think I've read on the DH MSN group is that on fakes, the "Dior" tag on the inside is not stitched on the four corners. I think from one of your pictures I saw that they are stitched on the corners, but the edges on the tag were kinda frayed, so that might be a little suspect. The other thing is the hang tag. The item number is correct, but I think it's supposed to have a numerical sizing,, not a letter. I've no idea where my tag went though. As well, I don't think the sticker on the tag is supposed to look like that? I think it should be either a sticker the full size of the tag, or the text is printed onto the tag. I have to dig out my tags if I still have them.

If I'm right though, you're welcome to thank me buy purchasing for me these fancy DH briefs:

The measurements seem off. For the inch to centimeter conversion is wack. It says the shoulder-to-shoulder measurement is 17.5 inches (I'm pretty sure thats wrong for Dior Homme in size 46, unless he means size 56), but according to him that equals 42cm, which it doesn't. You should ask for a picture of the size tag, and up close pictures of all the other tags.

I want to buy this Dior Homme Dress shirt but I want to make sure its real before purchasing. Only problem is he only is showing the tag. Any chance of telling if this is real from the tag?

I noticed that from the Reference number there was only 1 E and most reference numbers have 2 letters no? Someone correct me?

It seems to be legit. To answer your question about the two letter reference code, the only reason dior homme reference codes had two letters was to distinguish the main men's line from the few women's pieces that were produced in smaller sizes. The two letter system was used by Dior Homme from fw 01 up through fw 06. For ss 07 Hedi Slimane introduced a separate petite taille line for women which made the same pieces as the main line but in smaller sizes which eliminated the need for two letters. Petite taille and regular dress shirts can be now distinguished by the fact that the mens shirts have a silver size tag ( for example a size 39) that is located near the silver dior tag near the collar, whereas the petite taille line has black tags. The reference of a women's piece would go like 3HF (f for femme) whereas a men's would be 3HH (the first H for hiver and the second for homme, or winter and man in french respectively) prior to ss 07
