Fake Persols?

I'm curious - has anyone seen fake Persols in person? Is there anyone out there who cares enough about Persol to fake them? I like the old Ratti styles and found a new pair of 649s from a seller on eBay with little feedback. The thing that made me suspicious was the hinges are really sticky. Otherwise they seem legit - engraved lenses, case with a booklet, etc.

Any thoughts?
