Custom made suits in Toronto?

Hi everyone. Great site. I've been on this site for awhile now but this will be my first post. Does anyone know of any good affrodable tailors in the GTA? Looking to have a formal suit made for my wedding. I would like a tailor that is familar with the latest trends. Thanks in advance.

look around little portugal, there are a few...there's one in kensington market on the same block as the cheese store...theres a guy there. harry rosen does bespoke as well..prolly cost you an arm and a leg...

$1000 isn't bad actually...you're not going to do better than that. It all depends on if you want a suit made for you with a pattern, or if its fully customized....then you go crazy with the fabrics, etc. If you're looking to go cheap, try using a pattern and go to Walter Beauchamp. If you're looking to make an investment, go to New York.

shit a thousand is cheap. my buddy bought a paul smith joint off the rack on sale last year, got another discount and STILL paid 900-something for an ok-fitting suit. dont be a miser, its yr wedding. for christ's sake.

Thanks again. I don't know of any tailors in the GTA besides Harry Rosen hence the post. Just want to shop around and not settle. Anyone else?

Does it have to be bespoke? Get Smart over at styleforum sells made-to-measure suits for a pretty good price.

You send him your body measurements and your size and he'll adjust the measurements to fit you the best. The materials, construction, and fit are up to par with the likes of Dior, perhaps even better.

Almost everyone who has ordered from him have had excellent experiences and I'd recommend him.
