Pattern Making / Tops Construction

Hey

I know afew people here have been able to make their own jeans and I was just wondering if anyone has experience in pattern making for jeans, t-shirts, button ups or hoodie's? Also are their people that have made any of the other fore mentioned items? If anyone does make their own clothing, just wondering on what machines you use as I was wanting to try a shot at it.

You need a good pattern making book. I'm not sure which one we use, but I'm pretty sure it is published by Iowa State. If there is any course you should take for clothing design, it is pattern making. As far as equipment goes, if you are just starting, get yourself a kenmore from sears. It should last you a while...
