it was a concept for a month only that didn't seem to work well on a financial level but as far as a shop goes, . it looked amazing, the historic posters and imagery of the 501's that were up on the wall and the fact that alife got to do something with an originator was very cool. it was only to be open a month before they were done with their lease on orchard street...

the 501s were pretty wack...but like everything else alife does, they march to the beat of their own drum...for example, while everyone else was customizing and collaberating with nike, they dropped the adidas joints...i can't hate on them...wack product or not, questionable financial decisions and all, they always do things their way and are right up there with other cats pushing the envelope...

to my knowledge, alife has lots of love for nike...but they saw the opportunity to work with some classic adidas styles...in my opinion, they did the right thing...
