just read this on truehoop. since i know tons of people here are very knowledgeable about music, thought i'd pass it along:

Nike has called upon some of hip hop's most elite artists to create an original song; Kanye West, Nas, KRS-ONE, and Rakim. There are two versions of the song, "Better Than I've Ever Been" (prod. Rick Rubin) and the remix "Classic (Better Than I've Ever Been)" (prod. DJ Premier). Rakim is only featured on the remix and not the original.

A video was also created for the DJ Premier remix. All of the audio and video is below. ALL of the money generated from iTunes will be donated to youth charity programs in Baltimore, we are trying to generate as much traffic as possible to the Itunes store to really help the kids out.

aesop rock produced a 37-minute continuous mix for their running campaign... it's surprisingly good.
