pre shrunk 501's?

does levis still manufacture(or maybe they never have?) a pre shrunk 501 in raw denim finish?

never have, would be nice if they would... and would be nice if the raw 505's were straight legged intstead of tapered. I'd be all over those.

so, they have done in a 505, i have seen a 502 and a 513, but i refuse to wear those styles

Last I recall, sanforizing is what any label is talking about when they say "pre-shrunk."

I bought a pair of LVC 201XX in preshrunk a while back and I have seen early LVC 501 XX "Capital E" from like '96 in preshrunk as well. Preshrunk and rigid (raw) are mutualy exclusive. Why don't you just buy rigid and shrink them down?

For this coming fall i believe that levis premium will offer a finish that is called RAW, but is in fact preshrunk. the denim looks like a slightly faded 'real raw' denim. they'll have it in both 501 and the 557 jacket. so the rumour mill goes

The other day I saw a dude with 501 raw finish, not shirnk to fit. They're probably the ones they sell at kholes or something

if you saw them on someone, how would you know if they were shrink-to-fit or not?
