Acting classes / schools in new york

Hey all,

I've been searching around the internet and don't really know the difference between all of these. I have no acting experience but am interested in exploring my more creative side. Has any one taken classes before in NYC? Can any one suggest a good school that has classes for beginners? This is kind of new territory for me and any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks. I cant tell the difference between any of these. and I dont have like ten grand to go...I'm just looking for something for beginners.
