boutique sales in L.A.

Idk if this should be in superjetset or what, but I'm going to LA during MLK weekend (Jan 12-15), and I was wondering if there will still be sales going on at that time. I'm mainly interested in boutiques like American Rag, Fred Segal, stores along Melrose (MJ), etc. Is it wishful thinking to believe that there will still be stuff available? Thanks!

first of all... there is a supersale thread.

Second, boutiques are easy to get sales info from by calling the boutique and getting on their mailing list... Although I gotta say that american rag is slow on the uptake in terms of sending me emails... maybe they hate me.

most of the boutiques in la will be having sales from now until january so don't worry

stuff may be cheap, but its flys off the shelf in like 2 seconds.. especially in LA.
