vintage watches?

I just heard about a store in my hometown that sells vintage mechanical watches. A friend got a watch from the 60s for around 100$.

I know jackshit about watches, and wonder what are some classics that I should look for?

I guess the store don´t have the more/most expensive stuff, but mid-range or such.

Used Tissots on eBay are very reasonable in price, considering they used to make watches for Omega.

i aquired a vintage pulsar digital watch (the one with red numerals and faux gold finnish). the battery was dead, so i tried getting a replacement from pulsar's new company fossil. they could not even provide one. if someone know where to get one please tell. if you're thinking about getting a pulsar digiatal, please think twice (nice aesthetic, but pointless).
