I'm FAIRLY new to higher end designer denim, I've owned Rogans in the past, I have some Nudies that were friends and family only I got as a gift from a friend, and I recently received some WESC jeans as a gift.

They are hands down my FAVORITE jeans I've ever worn. The cut is amazing.. but I know NOTHING about them. My present came with no tags, and the jeans are not labeled "well" in that they describe the cut at all (I'm used to wearing lucky jeans, have for the last 5 or 6 years and they always say like "loose low bootcut" on the tag.

The best I could find was "ca 39993"

can anyone help me with what the cut or fit of these jeans are? I have a HUGE problem finding jeans to fit, I try on TONS AND TONS, but I have VERY large thighs and a slimmer waist (34 waist, sometimes 33) and I NEVER can get into any jeans... I'd like to use this model as the base for my future purchases but I have no idea about the cut.

can anyone help me out?

also, can anyone recommend cuts that will work with my body and not look stupid? again, slimmer thighs, I like a looser jean to not strangle my crotch/thighs... I keep looking at blue bloods because I hear great things about them but I need to know they will fit me... a lot of these brands I can't try on though, since I'm in the midwest and there are no retailers around the area.

It's hard to guess which WESC-jean you are describing (probably Standard or Bruce), but it would be great if you could describe the denim more.

However, it's great that you have found WESC, their 13.25 oz ringspun selvage denim is awesome.

Except their premium line for 06 has exposed selvedge on the back pockets!?

Is that some sort of bad joke? They do look very nice but exposed selvedge is... well its.... Its just wrong, OK? WRONG!!!
