My mom LOVES the raw denim

So my mom called me today just to say hi, and I happened to be checking the APC site, and told her I was looking into this raw denim thing that's new to me.

She said when she was in highschool way back in the day (60's), she had a pair of raw unwashed Levi's, and they were the best jeans she's ever had, and she remembers those jeans more than anything else. She even mentioned how amazing the seams were (I'm assuming she was talking about the selvage).

I thought it was pretty funny. My mom knows more about what's up that I do hahaha. Just thought I'd share.

thats funny but I cant help but feel it belongs in superblurber or superconfession or supertrash. The more random posts the harder it is for new guys to search for info.

No disrespect intended. On the subject of raw, my last japanese jeans were one wash and I think the next will be raw, theres just something about how raws change and mould to your body that i like.

^^^ "my mom loves the raw..." is what you were going to perhaps type. Anyway yeah raw denim is nothing new. I personally had the exact opposite experience with denim and my mother. She thought that every pair i bought was raw even though none of them were and would become furious and not let me sit on furniture.

Awesome, the Levi's 501s from 66 is the best pair of jeans I own. I can assure you it's the same kind of jeans as your mother owned.

Where can I find a pair, and how much would it cost me?

It would be cool if I could find another pair for my mom since she loved them so much...

Think they are pretty hard to find these days, they where made in a limited edition (of 1010 pairs I think) for the LVC spring/summer collection 2006. Some stores might still have them in stock, if you are very lucky. I hope that they are reissued for the a/w collection 2007.
