if you come across a power adapter for your computer, buy it. mine died last night and i had to get one off ebay.

Apple power adapters suck in so many ways. Best to get a third party one off the net... some people try to persist with Apple branded adapters foolishly thinking they're superior and end up blowing 60 quid every year.

same thing happened with my dell laptop. didn't want to blow 80$ on it so got one off ebay. the fucking moron at canada post never delivered it to me and send it back to the seller so i had to spend almost 4 weeks without my laptop. it happens to every computer. a friend of mine at school went through something like 10 thinkpad power supply (good thing for him he could get new one for free).
