What's the denim quality and fit like? The fit looks a bit relaxed to me but I'm not sure.

I am actually in the same boat, I really want to pull the trigger on them. I actually ordered the same pair from factory people, but in the bootcut and they were huge so I had to return them. So, I don't know if the classic fit will be the same or the bootcut just looked wierd because they were so long it feel wierd on me.

denim quality is good but it is a relaxed baggier fit. you might probably be able to go a size down.

they fit pretty true to size it seems like, but the cut is definitely looser/baggier than you might like. I have a pair in a size 32 if anybody is interested, 120 shipped takes them. I don't wear them because of the cut and my skinny legs

So are they much baggier than Evisu Lot 0331, SSDS or LVC 1947's? I'm thinking between these or maybe a pair of Edwin Nashville's.

the ones on newton store are the salvage version, they are 256 and the non salvage ones are 189.

the selvedge have lot number/size stamped on the tag, the non-selvedge don't. They are probably similar to the 47 cut, but a little looser, and no anti-fit ass.

Definitely looser than a '47 cut. Maybe more of a Loose Frank or Apc Rescue cut. Full thigh, relaxed calf. Great jeans, but alittle on the shapless side if you're used to more tailored fitting denim.

I didn't and now I'm stuck with a pair of extraordinary quality jeans that are almost unwearable: they fit like a dream when you buy them new and then stretch out almost 4" over time ... They're that nice that I seriously thought about getting a surgeon on them for a while but then I'd lose six months marks and wear, so now they are temporarily retired while I work out what to do.

i'm a newbie here and from what i can see you have more posts than everyone on this thread so far. it's safe to say nobody knows what you're yawning about. the people responsible for the fit, price and quality your (american) jeans are not the ones in the factories or on websites. if you understand where i'm coming from you wouldn't have bought those badly sized jeans to begin with.

I agree that Akademiks are a laughable brand. But anyone who's knowledgable enough to approach PRPS' products with an open mind will agree that the quality of the *material* at least is undeniable.

really love the color n detailing, but the fit is a lil off from the knees down...

anyway that i can sortta shrink it (without alter)...

would a hot soak or something help?

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you, except that I purchased one of the (tastefully done) destroyed rinses. The thighs have ballooned, and the bottoms are now too wide for my Chucks unless I cuff. Fucking A.

I'm happy to semi-retire mine ... they've had nine months heavy wear and although they haven't been rinsed or dry cleaned they look and feel fantatsic so I'll keep them and use them for work jeans - wash them somewhere down the line and see what happens then .

I wear my jeans baggy and skate in these. I'll post before and after pics later. I've been wearing em 70% of the time since last october. Not the kinda fade marks you guys with more fitting jeans have but at least someone can know.

strictly looks-wise, those shits should cost 80 bones or so. for 400 tho, they better come with some sucky-sucky. they look voluminous and the wash is bleh.

400? the most i've seen is 240. those aren't washed. most of the wear is from falling or rubbing on my griptape (near the ankles) cuz i rock my jeans loose.
