The Right is 43 1/2 and the Left is 44. However, with Dior Homme, the insoles are removeable. Anyone who wears a 43 1/2 can put a small insole under the Dior insole on the 44 for a perfect fit. The insole measurements are almost the same so keep reading for more information including the measurements.

so why are they two different sizes?

The person who originally bought both pairs has a bigger right foot. He didn't mind buying both sizes to get an exact fit because he can afford doing so. That's why the Left is a 44 and the Right is a 43.5. The sizing difference is really small though, so like I mentioned, an added insole to the bigger shoe would make both sizes fit the same.
