I had a pair of these a while back. IIRC, they were a repro of early century trousers. I sold mine for about a hundred bucks. I believe these were sold in Canada and Europe.

I remember seeing those in American Classics on the King's Road back around 2000 or 2001. They were a dark indigo. Quite expensive too, IIRC.

Cool - I look forward to seeing pics of those. Are they similar to the 4 pocket late 1890s or early 1900s that Levis put out around '99? I had a pair but the cinchback broke after a week so I took them back and swapped them for a pair of snopants.

they are spring-bottom pants. for the higher class levis consumer.

Dr J heres a shot of them. I'll get some really nice photos when I get them.

I really like the high placed arcuate and the leather tag in the center under the cinch back.

I also score a pair of 1933 555 501s that came this week. They had only been soaked once and never worn just tried on.
