Shrinking a polo shirt w/o damaging it

Hey

I have a CDGxFred Perry Polo shirt but it's too big for me.

I was thinking of washing it w/ hot water and tumble drying but I'm afraid to do so

as the shirt may get damaged or whatever.

I would like to know if you guys know a good way of shrinking a polo.

what are the washing instructions on it?

if its just cotton I'd wash it in warm water, then tumble dry for a little while and see what it looks like. if it hasn't shrunken, then tumble dry it more.

agreed. though if it's a full size larger than your norm, you'll probably still want to get it altered afterwards.

true, it will probably shrink mostly in length, if it gets too short you can stretch it a bit while wet which again will make it a bit more narrow
