In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that they've been worn a few times (but are a bit too big for me, regrettably), and have been washed once in cold water, no detergent. As you can see from the pictures, there's barely any wear and tear. Fit-wise, I'd say they're a true size 30 (a 29 could wear them slouchy) with an 8.5 inch leg opening. The inseam's also a true 30 and has not been altered.
