Where are you getting these? Did I see you mention the (now defunct) Valencia St. plant in a previous post?

I've found some on e-bay. About 4 years ago I found the first pair of 555 36 201s raw. I paid like $150 for them. A year or so later I contacted the person that had bought the 201s I won on e-bay wondering if she might know where I could get another raw pair. She said maybe and e-mailed me back a couple weeks later saying she had another pair so I bought'm(3 rinse in photo). My 47s I bought at the Levis store in Chicago. $100 close out. I got several pairs from Aero Leather in Scotland. If you watch e-bay sometimes you can find raw new with tags stuff. I scored my 37 501s (picture) raw NWTs. My 20 201s (my favorites 555) new with tags on e-bay. The prices of this 555 stuff has really gone up in the past year though. I saw a pair of the 37 201s raw NWT go for over $400.

airfrog you really got your LVC and vintage levi's down pat. great closeups, especially the hidden rivet wear. won't you end up ripping furniture in future though?

Haven't yet but did scratch one of the Mrs good chairs OUCH...

I'll try and get some good shots of my 555 20s 201s in the next day or two.
