Vests?

Depends what you want them for. If it is to wear with jeans, you don't care about brand, and color doesn't matter: try a vintage store.

If you want it to wear with a suit and need a high quality wool-blend, the folks at Styleforum.net will be alot more knowledgeable.

Alternatively, if you want a puffy winter one, you should specify. Or maybe you want a leather one; how about a fleece one (Acronym? Patagonia? Spiewak?).......no one can help you unless you shell out what the hell it is you are looking for......

You will definitely have more luck in a vintage store. I'm reading you want the over all look to be trendy, not corporate. If you want to be edgy get a black military vest! Ha

Cool vest, I agree thrift stores is the best way to do it, unless of course you really wanna spend 200+ on a J. Lindberg that looks exactly the same.

Every line I can think of has a vest for Fall/Winter 2006. Give your local boutiques another week or two and they'll have something.

Back in the 80's I bought vintage vests from the thrift stores to create the exact look you are going for. You may have a hard time finding your size since they have not been truly popular since the 70's and only fat bankers and used car salesmen wore them. It's tough finding smaller sizes.
