Hello everyone,

Just bought a pair of these http://www.wingsandhorns.com/2011/09/06/fallwinter-2011-selvage-denim-series/.

Great fit waiting on the hem to be finished.

Anyone have any clue to whether or not these are sanforized?

i believe cone only make unsanforized for LVC, so it should be sanforized.

I think as a general rule, denim is sanforized, not many jeans are unsanforized and especially not for a brand that doesn't specialize in denim like W+H.

Not really true, but still a good guideline. Both Ande Whall and Roy have used unsanforized Cone denim. It is pretty rare though

fair point. i think i may have picked up the info on the roy competition thread where roy was saying how difficult it was to persuade cone to part with unsanforized...

I recently bought a pair of the raw Slim W+H jeans on sale in Vancouver while there for Xmas. Couldn't say no to the price.

I had been looking for a slim cut replacement for my APC NC's (have enough 501 '47 style cuts) and the price was right and arguably a better pair of jeans than the APC NC's as well.
