Did anyone else have this denim book on order?

I had it on a pre-order from about early may 2005, and I hear it's been cancelled. I'm pretty disappointed. Guess I'll spend my money on another pair of jeans instead...

how much was it supposed to be? what was the book supposed to be like?

It was about $179 through amazon, published by CRC press. It was about 224 pages i believe, here's the description:

The first part of the book focuses on the design process with a review of style developing and presentation. It sounded pretty sweet, and quite technical. I have another book which was co-edited by Y. Li, it's pretty intense, and I'm only on page 10.

It's called:

'Biomechanical Engineering of Textiles and Clothing'

Sounds riveting doesn't it?

Certainly a scary title. I'll jump into that hole when i'm done reading Paul T's book
