LVC 1944 s501xx

okay, so i fucked up with the last pair of raw jeans i bought (levi stf) and went up 1 size and even after a warm water soak they are still huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge

my new lvc 1944 s501xx arrived today and i bought my true size (they are a little snug)

question is will they stretch out much

My 47s did not stretch much after an initial warm soak. I wore mine until dry after that so they wouldn't shrink too small. There are pics of them in the Before and After thread to attest to the lack of stretchage.

I bought all my raw LVC's at 2" bigger on the tag than my true waist size and they shrunk down to be a decent - but not perfect - fit after soaking.

I guess your 44's should be ok if you don't intend washing them in water and want to keep them dry cleaned.

I wouldn't compare the 47s with the 44s...the waist on the 44s seems to be cut bigger...i have both in size 32 and while the 47s shrink down to around 30", the 44s have stayed at 32...that's my experience at least

My 47s shrunk down to 2" smaller than tagged size. Mine are about 7 or 8 years old though, so I'm not sure if they're made the same way now.

i just bought 34/34 and they didn't shrink at all
