Do you get carded in shanghai?

Hi all, I'm travelling to shanghai but i'm not quite 21...I guess there's a possibility this might be a really dumb question (sorry if it is) but do they card you in shanghai for clubs and such? Is the age limit even 21 or do they just not care? Thanks guys for the help, I don't really want to get a nasty surprise when I want to hang out with my 21+ friends there...

as far as i know, the US is pretty much the only place in the world where drinking age is 21. although i don't know for sure, i would be really really surprised if you would get carded in China and i ever you do, i'm 100% a little bribe would get you in.

i'm assumin shanghai is like HK. it doesn't matter if you're 21, as long as you're 18; you're fine. the clubs in HK never card unless you look really suspect. i think the biggest problem you're gonna encoutner is clubs being particular about who they let in and who they don't. so as long as you look proper, you're ok.
