Washed/Distressed Selvedge Denim?

im currently looking for a nice pair of washed/distressed selvedge denim...

if i had the time, i would have easily gone the raw/dry route, but im currently working on two pairs of raw denim right now, and im not sure if i can fit another pair in...

im basically looking for a pair that fits kind of like the APC Rescues...just a straight leg jean thats kind of fitted...

ive been wearing too many tapered jeans, and i cant wear my nikes/skate shoes with em, cause it makes em look like space boots, so im looking for a leg opening thats big enough for nikes (dunks/af1s)

im asking for selvedge..just cause ive never bought a pair before, and i wanna see what its all about...all my raw denim is non selvedge (hm, levi stf, evisuxpuma), so i just wanna try out some selvedge...

i have this thought too.. can't really have too much dry pieces as i only wear jeans during the weekend..

also its summer over here, and the weather is always high 80s-100 in norcal...

dont want to walk aruond in heavy, dark denim =P

if its washed does ti still matter if its selvage

i guess itll hold out for a bit longer that most jeans but still

prps makes some crazy washes in a big straight leg rescue style cut

kinda expensive though.

If I want predistressed prewashed I dont bother buying new I just hit up eBay for a vintage pair of levis

well, i would just go and get a pir levi's red or head to the rosebowl swap meet, you could find some real good stuff over there.

ebay some redlines. im sure you can get a pair with a nice fade from the 70s for less than you would pay for new prewashed selvage. probably better jeans too.

Just keep wearing the dry ones you have. Don't give in. Everytime you put on a predistressed pair of jeans it is a lost opportunity.
