Moderate Premium Shoes

Recommended Posts

I am growing the premium biz at the shop and toying around with a coupe of lines.

Jhung Yuro

Greedy Genius

Keep in mind, we are a denim, sneaker, streetwear/online wear shop.

I have accounts with FEIT, but they didn't sell quite like I wanted them to so I don't know if I want to order the new season or not. I love the product, and think it is unique.

I also carry JB Classics, Frye, Reebok, Creative Recreation, and Etnies +.

Any thoughts on the other two lines ?

It was lower on my list. I am leaning towards adding in Jhung Yuro. Madfoot would be nice, but I don't speak Japanese and I have had a hard time getting a respinse from them. Same with Ubique. Thanks for the input.

Something about Feit really missed the mark but I can't quite put my finger on it. The materials and construction were first rate, the comfort and fit were great and the aesthetic was pretty unique...but it just didn't seem to come together right. On screen / paper they looked good but in person the designs struck me like they got some of the proportions just a little wrong. Too much shoe and not enough sneaker or vice versa.

well I've been in the lab....using some of your insights...but how can you be so certain that GG won't do well.....? people have strange and varied tastes in the world...and hype is almost everything these days. They're not my style at all...and to be honest. I'm not so sure if I understand thier marketing, but they seem to be getting support at the retail level...and that's half the battle....maybe we should revisit the statement in a year.

I amstill leaning towards Jhung Yupr, but I also want to make money, and I do get a lot of Hypebeasts shopping in the store. So, sometimes I buy things just for them. I am going to add Spring Court for fall so I am excited about that too.
