levi's premium skinners

Recommended Posts

i was rummaging through my closet for goodwill donations and i found a pair of rigid skinner premiums. it still had the tags on it, $110 30x34. anyhoo, i think my bro got it for me when i was in high school and ,at the time, i thought they were too tight probably. i haven't gained much weight since that time, prolly 5 lbs. i tried it on again, and i could just get the buttons all done. i was wonderin' if these stretch at all over time. usually, i'm a 28 or 29, so i was suprised that these things were so tight in the waist. i love the fit in the thighs, shins, and seat. it's just the waist thats killin' me. i can wear my boxer briefs with 'em but i don't know how you guys deal with the private pinching. can anyone help me out? should i keep 'em if they stretch enough, or should i just donate them?

i've been wearin' them in the house for about 5 hours and about 1 mile on my bike.

I have a pair of those... in my experience they barely stretch in the waist (about half an inch for me. If you have a bigger waist perhaps it will stretch more). Even after 5 months (3.5 months of hard consecutive daily wear) it has a tendency to 'pinch' me in places that were never meant to be pinched.

i went to the sf levi's store and one of the salesmen said it wouldn't stretch a full size. he said it needs to have at least some spandex, but it is full cotton...or somethin' like that. i think i'll keep 'em. i'll just hold out for those new bootcut ola's that are supposed to come out soon. thanks for your help.

how much did your 501's stretch?
