altering leather jackets

Okay, I have a jut neck w riders that I need to alter. Size 1. A little about me, I have a very slim lower torso and waist but an average chest, so I need to taper many things. This jacket included.

Make it slimmer. But I have very little confidence in the ability of most tailors, even those experienced and professional ones, that they can do a good job on this one. It's heavy leather, brand new, and expensive.

Do you think it can reasonably be done by a good tailor (a master leatherworker is stretching it - where can I find one)? Advice is much appreciated!
