Item: DAMIR DOMA Woven Draped or Buttoned Tunic Top sz 40 New w/ tags

I bought this woven shirt/tunic in a small size to wear as a shirt, and a larger one to wear as a dress. Because DD's sizing is not always consistent, I wasn't sure if an IT 38 or IT 40 would be more appropriate to wear as a dress, I bought both thinking I would sell one. I'm wearing the Damir tunic with Ann D nubuck leather leggings and M.A+ slash back lace boots in bison.

Size: IT 40

Measurements:

Bust or PtP: 36"

Length: 29"

Sleeve: 19.5" (it's actually longer because the shoulder hem is dropped slightly)

Fabrication: 100% virgin wool

Details: there are two small buttons and button threads along the opening of the collar that allows for versatility in how this is worn. There is also one button on the side of the top/tunic that allows the the item to be worn in a more structured way.

The body is roomy, but certainly not in the way that many of DD's other pieces are.

The purl side of the knit is exposed. In my experience, the "knit" side of the fabric, in this case, the interior, is softer in hand feel.

I have 40ish scarves. A couple from Damir. This one is brand new, and it's enormous so...it should go. It'd be a nice gift.

Fabrication: 47% Silk/53% Linen blend

Details: Edges are unfinished and it is meant to "evolve" over time. The eventual fraying is important to the concept. Each edge is wrapped in the well-known metal tubes.

This what I wear to sleep. The jersey long sleeve t-shirt I am wearing in the fit pics below is my own in sz DE 36 (IT 40) The one for sale is unworn, sz DE 38 is depicted in the photo above and in this fit pic. The color is most accurate in the last photo -- of the rough unfinished collar -- on this page.

I prefer these jersey basics by DD to the Rick Owens jersey layering pieces because they are less constrictive and more substantive the fabric they use (though the fabric does not feel as silken.)

Material Composition: 85% Cotton, 15% Cashmere

Details: Curved, long hem in both front and back. Twisted seam on arms, single slightly curved seam divided the front and back into two panels, unfinished, slightly rolled hems, unfinished crew collar. Twisted seam (not technically a chain seam but looks like one) begins at collar and intersects with a a traditional shoulder seam creating a more streamlined shoulder silhouette.

Technical Details: There are fantastic features to the construction of this shirt. In the photo that follows, you can see that the shoulders of the shirt are constructed so that they are both raglan, while also having a traditional shoulder hem.

A raglan seam that intersects with a shoulder seam will create a softly structured shoulder in which the shoulder seam follows below the usual point on the ball of the shoulder. This means that to get a correct shoulder measurement, one must measure from the intersection of the twisted seam and the shoulder seam. Image here.
