I actually don't mind this TNF for the price its at but i haven't felt it in person. It's just something I would never regret not picking up.

I really don't think checkerboard translates well to the material/type of shell and the silhouette is not preferable for me.

The gross profit margin has been steadily increasing... The city shell retailed for less than msrp but now I'm guessing theyre close to 2x Also a normal dolomite is 80 -> 138.

Is the shell you're referring to the Expedition shell jacket from S/S 2010? If I remember correctly that Sup x TNF Expedition jacket had a MSRP $348-358(?) but I can't find any similar jacket to compare it to on the TNF site or the web..

I did find the winter parka on their official site which is nylon, is insulated with down feathers and has a MSRP $349. - link The Sup version was waxed cotton and was more fitted but I don't think was down filled and had a MSRP of $348. The Dolomite bag also has a MSRP of $99 on TNF site but you can find it cheaper on other sites.
