Allevol jeans

I've been wearing a pair of Allevol type 2's pretty much everyday since july and have gotta say these really are the nicest jeans i've had for some time.

Low to medium rise, a classic slim cut. Nice heavyweight 14.5oz denim. rear rivets, black pocket bags. They do 4 cuts ranging from skinny to a wide straight.

They're starting to fade quite nicely. Good deep set whiskers. I'll add pics as they evolve. I met the owner while I was working in a jeans shop. Really nice fella.

Anyone else got a pair of these?

(NB- I have nothing to do with the brand itself, just really like these jeans)

i think i've seen it in person, made in japan but the company is based in UK.

the quality is pretty decent, but i think i'd splash my cash in another (japanese) brands. It's better if they can put better hardware&detailing.

Honest question: What sets them apart from other designed elsewhere but 'made in Japan' jeans that have come and gone (RIP Aika)?

I couldn't comment really. not sure what other brands you mean.

I've got other japanese pairs- Eternals, skulls, and I think these are every bit as good.

My Allevol type 2's after 1 year of gentle wear. 2 washes, well more like swishes round a warm bath with some soap flakes at 6 months & 1 year.

Are those overdye?

Nope. They stay really dark tho'

An easy way to tell is the cuffs, it's white.

mrblack could you give us some more info on those things? website... where you got them... etc.. and yeah they look overdyed imo..

I got them at Son of a Stag in London, but I assue you can get them through the companies website

Definitely not overdyed. but I guess the pics don't show the true colours
