Resin coated jeans question

Hey Team,

I'm looking to buy the Nudie Thin Finn black resin coated jeans to wear as a smart casual pair of jeans for work. I'm curious as to how these might age and wear, I've been told they should be treated like raw jeans but they go 'shiny' instead of 'worn'. My issue is that I don't want to buy a pair of jeans that look less smart and more casual the longer I wear them..

Do any of you have a pair of 6-18 month old resin jeans? Could you upload pics so I can see what I'm in for? My other alternative is a schmick pair of black Saba jeans, but the resin was pretty interesting..

They get shiny and look almost like leather. Don't know if that's appropriate for work. If you wash them, the coating disappears, so treat em like raw ones...
