Good quality oxford shirts?

Hey, i'm looking to buy some plain oxford shirts (no logos, plain design), what can you guys suggest that has nice quality and doesn't cost too much?

Specifics: button down collar, slim fit

which area are you in? I bought a couple really nice fitting oxfords from uniqlo when I was japan for only 1000 yen each (about $10). also, you can usually find oxfords at the gap for pretty cheap when they go on sale.

you can also try your luck at the boys section in zellers (no i'm not kidding). i've bought about 4 shirts from there at about $15 each. they fit surprisingly well and are holding up great.

I guess "not too expensive" is pretty relative on this forum. Oxfords are a classic, it's pretty easy to find some pretty much throughout the year in the States. GAP and J.Crew comes to mind, and I'm sure you'll find some on sale from time to time.

Ralph Lauren are not the cheapest but for quality they're head and shoulders above the rest.

Having said that, I buy my ready to wear shirts from TMLewin and Charles Tyrwhitt on Jermyn street or online - great for multiple

Purchase deals and great customer service - both of them.

Thomas Pink make nice shirts but more expensive and more workwear for city types than casual wear...
