Is the music for the song "Fiend Club" sampled from a different song?

I'm watching Conan O'Brien, and the Max Weinberg 7 just played a song that was (what I though to be) 'Fiend Club'.

Did the Misfits just change the lyrics to some other song, or is Max Weinberg a fiend?

Yeah, it's from their album a few years ago released on Roadrunner. Forgot the name of it.

ah.. that would explain it. check allmusic.com ... it usually lists the composers for each track i think

The Fiend Club was an insert from 1980's 3 Hits From Hell (First pressing only), which had the tracks London Dungeon, Horror Hotel, and Ghouls Night Out.

The song your talking about from 99s Famous Monsters is based on garbage. (But I guess this is no help to you... )

I know what the actual Fiend Club is (or I guess was) I just wanted to know if it's an original song.

I would guess that Max Weinberg, if he were going to, could pick a better Misfits song to cover. But that said, its possible. Alot of the new Misfits stuff bites melodys and what not.
