NY meatpacking dis/chelsea/wst village recs

Always slept in midtown or brooklyn before, but I'll be staying in the meatpacking district for a weekend. Any food/art/shopping not to miss? To totally avoid? Overrated/underrated? Yelp is a mess.

I know there's a lot of NY thread but shit changes fast and NEED CURRENT INFO. NO ONE TOLD ME WHITNEY QUIT DVF.

The High Line park is real cool.

Also I'm not an expert on NY nightlife but I went to Bar 675 a couple times when I lived there this summer. Really fun bar, not too pretentious, no cover, good seating, and relatively cheap drinks.

Definitely checking out the high line. Thanks for the rec on 675, seems like a good fit. I think we may do brunch at the standard grill, and dinner somewhere else in the city--craving good italian.
