Does anyone have any recommendation for a good and not too expensive tailor in the LA area? Did a bit of searching on the forum and didn't find anything useful. Thanks in advance...

both are good, Ki is dirt cheap, i got my denim jacket taken in by him and it cost $30 and a pair of helmut lang jeans hemmed for $12.

Francisco's costs more, i had my diors taken in and hemmed and it cost around $40, my gf got her burberry coat (and detachable lining) shortened for $40ish, and I think hemming alone costs $15 - 20 here, not too sure though.
