Dyeing a washed out tee

Can any one advise, bought a black Last orgy tee from Jap ebay which turns out as an original release, point is its pretty washed out. I was wondering if i dyed it black would it take and if so would it affect the print (which is still sharp),

As long as the shirt is 100% cotton, over the counter dyes such as RIT will work with this shirt. The concentration of the dyestuff combined with the amount of exposure of the garment to the dye will affect how deep the color is. Use a cup of table salt when dying for better results.

The dye will not affect the print if it is pigment printed (i.e. screenprinted).
