Leather Question

Hey..

this question may be stupid, but it is possible by any chance to 'shrink' leather.

I got a jacket at chrismas, which turned out abit to large, and now i was hoping for some help. - Are there anything i can do about it?- maybe i can get some shop to fix it for me?

you can definitely stretch leather out somewhat, but for a jacket, i dont think you will have much luck with anything. a tailor might be able to do something though

I will try to contact a tailor, maybe he can do anything about it.

i guess it depends on how you want it to "shrink". but i would think that any attempts to shrink the leather would inevitably damage it. you could contact a tailor, but depending on what you need done in terms of length, width, taking in the shoulders, etc. assuming that it's a jacket worth the trouble, it'll end up costing you an arm and a leg to do a decent job. might as well buy a new jacket at that point.
