Lacoste polos and sizing

I just picked up a regular Lacoste polo the other day, size 3 or XS and I noticed that even then, it seems to be a bit on the long side.

Is there anything I can do to get it to shrink a bit, such as a hot wash or dry, or will it not shrink that much? I'd prefer to get it about 2" or so shorter than it already is.

same problem here, i would say get it hemmed but it probably wouldn't look right

a hot wash and spin the dryer will shrink it. they do make a size 2, you might want to try that one instead

While on the subject of Lacoste polos... is it just me or do these things fit funny? Maybe it's just me, but they all fit like a tent. Are they supposed to? They're fine near the top, but travel down and the shirt gets wider and seems to end short in the back.

they are quite boxy. if you try on their retro/slim fit polos, it much slimmer. sames goes for the polo rl custom fit polos

lacoste polos shrink like crazy if you wash it the wrong way....

The wash and dry did the trick, it's about 1.5-2" shorter now. Thanks!
