Motorcycle jackets

Hi guys new to the forum. I did a general search and found various threads pertaining to leather jackets but haven't seen anything specific discussing a classic asymmetrical biker jacket.

My question is do a lot of you go vintage with this route or are you some of you finding designers that make something with a more "contemporary" fit(narrower sleeves etc.).

Apologies in advance if this has actually been discussed at great lengths.

Rick Owens makes a nice but painfully overpriced one. There are a lot of options. Vintage schott perfectos fit a good bit tighter than newer ones. if you get a new one, size down.

how slim are the sleeves? compared to brands like NB, DH, RO??

i don't think so, but ask leonard leroy. he has one he really likes.

i have a vintage cafe racer that is slim sitting, but they tend to fit slimmer than the perfecto.

I'm about to start rebuilding a '74 Norton Commando 850:

Hopefully it will look like that when completed.

On that note I'm also in the market for a smart moto jacket. Not a lot of bells and whistles/hardware.

You ebaying these or finding them through a retailer? No luck for vintage schott on there.
