ive decided to buy a new pair of jeans. since i live in japan, what kind should i get over here. hows your experience with sugarcane, 45rpm, etc.

If you're looking for 501 repros, try Denime & Warehouse, which are reasonably priced and are very particular about fabrics & detailing. Otherwise, there's a whole bunch of excellent Japanese denim brands.

Yes, you're especially fortunate since you live there and you can try stuff on to see how they fit, and to handle them personally before buying. You'll see there's many good brands, your choice will probably depend more on the fit, and your liking of them. Good shopping!
